Powering a pitch

Being invited to pitch for a major car manufacturers’ Global F1 site, we wanted to show how we live and breathe a project, so it was a great opportunity to demonstrate our abilities and concept a user-centric site.

With a small team and very short timescales, I adopted lean methods and techniques that would give us quick, useful insights. From workshops, I built Mental Models of user behaviour over an F1 weekend and put together journeys, flows and a sitemap so we had a structure to our ideas. I worked directly with the creative team and designers, helping them to explore a variety of ideas, providing a digital overview and enhancing the core creative concept.

A full set of wireframes were produced to assist designers and help exemplify our desire for the experience to be as rich on a mobile or tablet device as it would be on a desktop.

I was part of the 5 man pitch team that presented directly to clients from Japan at their corporate HQ. Despite not winning the work, I was pleased to get high praise from the client for the UX work and they loved the work we had produced.
